“186th story”
First published: April.08.2021
Peter was invited to his friend’s wedding. It was a great ceremony and Peter was having fun.

While he was dancing, he noticed one of the guests is his high school teacher.

Peter went closer to Mr. Hunt and said: “Good evening, sir.”
Mr. Hunt said: “Good evening son.”
“I’m Peter. I was in your class in my senior high school year. You changed my life. Do you remember me?”

Mr. Hunt: “Sorry son, I don’t remember you.”
Peter: “Jack had bought an expensive watch that year, and his watch disappeared during your class. Jack panicked and you told him, you will search every one of us before leaving the class. You asked us to line up, and searched us one by one.

You found Jack’s watch in my pocket, took it out but didn’t say a word. No one ever found out, I was the one who stole the watch.
But you kept it a secret. That act of yours taught me what a shameful thing I did. I never stole anything from anywhere, nor anyone, because of how you treated me.

I learned how beautiful it would be to be a person like you. I built a great honest life, only because of you. And I am very grateful for the lesson you trained me. Now, do you remember me, sir?”

Mr. Hunt: “I do remember Jack’s watch was stolen, and finally was found. But I still didn’t remember you, because, at the time searching for my students, I had my eyes closed. I didn’t want to know who did it. And I didn’t want to judge.”
Dear friends:
Don’t forget to read my books.

Thank you very much, Laleh! Gimme a little bit more time reading your newest book. I stuck in some in my TBR. The English language in it deepness is not very easy, for me. ;.-) Have a beautiful weekend! Michael

What a remarkable story, specifically at the end that the teacher had searched his students with his eyes closed.

Thank you for sharing!!…unfortunately there are those that are quick to judge even with eyes closed, because their mind is closed also… 🙂
Until we meet again..
May your day be touched
by a bit of Irish luck,
Brightened by a song
in your heart,
And warmed by the smiles
of people you love.
