In a restaurant, people were enjoying their time. All of a sudden, a young man jumped off his chair and screamed: “I became father, hooray. I would like to invite a random table to be my guest. And pointed at an old couple.

The young man asked the waiter to bring the best food and appetizers on the menu.

The waiter brought a feast of appetizers, great food dishes, and at the end, a beautiful cake. The young man paid for everything, and that night ended.

Ten-fifteen years later, that young man came to the same restaurant with his wife and two sons aged 5 to 7.

The restaurant owner recognized the man’s face and went close and said: “Are you the young man who became a father while he was eating in my restaurant?”

The customer smiled and said: “What a great memory, yes, it was me.”

The owner asked: “Your child must be around 15 years old, now?”

The customer said: “I wasn’t even married that day.”

The owner asked: “If you don’t mind my curiosity, why did you shout that you became a father that night. You paid for a table as of your happiness and part of the celebration?”

The customer replied with a smile: “I was eating that night and overheard the table next to me. The old couple was celebrating their anniversary. They had a budget covering only a bowl of soup for each.

The old woman said quietly to her husband; “I wish we could have steak with salad and fries, not to mention a whole delicious cake. It’s a special night tonight.”

The old man replied to her, “We don’t need a steak. We are healthy and have each other.”

I couldn’t ignore that, and the only way to pay for their food and not hurt their feelings was to create a fake celebration.”
