What a beautiful story during World War II. I loved the author’s connecting Hanna’s hard life to the War zone. I loved the journey “Laleh Chini” made for Hanna and made my read fantastic. I loved the story with the images. This book brought me joy, empathy, compassion, and frustration which came together to make this book a great book. An EPIC book. Great storyline and characters you become attached to. I couldn’t put this book down. It was absolutely a great read, the way Hanna accepted her destiny and floated in life while holding tight to her little sister.

I think I’m starting to become obsessed with Laleh Chini’s writing, as it simply sits in hearts.
