180th story
First published: Feb.25.2021
A father and his daughter were going from their village to the nearest town to see a doctor.
They had to walk across the woods to get to the town faster through a shortcut.

The daughter was sick and the father wanted to get her to the doctor as soon as possible.

On the way, they saw a narrow wooden bridge, hanging and swinging on top of a deep valley.

The father said: “Hold on to my hand, while we are passing this dangerous bridge.”

The daughter replied: “I won’t hold on to your hand, father. You hold my hand.”
The father said: “What you said, was a repeat of what I just told you, I don’t understand?”

The daughter replied: “There is a huge difference. If I hold on to your hand, I may release it in any circumstances, but if you hold my hand, you will never let go of me and I will be safe.”

This story is exactly like the relationship between us and God. If we hold his hand, we may easily let go of him with the smallest and stupidest sin. But if we ask him to hold our hand, he will never let go or give up on us.

Wow really fantastic message and also true 👍

Simple and true message! Just as God holds on to our hand, we do the same with our children. Neither of us will ever let go.
