The Chieftain|کدخدا

“229th Story”

Once upon a time;

There was a green, beautiful village were people worked very hard, and lived happy.

But recently everyday when they woke up to start their lives, they heard the news that a thief had taken some of their belongings.

When the farmers followed the foot steps of the thief, they all ended up to the village’s Chieftain’s house.

But they couldn’t put the puzzles together and only talked about the mysterious boots footprints, which was the same as the boots of their village’s chieftain.

Some said: “The thief probably steals the Chieftain’s boots every night, to rob us so we wouldn’t know who the real thief is.”

Every person had different explanations, and opinions, but no one dared to accuse the Chieftain as a thief.

One man in the village shouted: “Don’t be fools, the thief is no one but the Chieftain.”

People told the Chieftain: “Don’t mind him, he is a crazy man and often talks too much.”

The next day the crazy man of the village disappeared and when people asked, the Chieftain said: “The thief killed him.”

The Chieftain wasn’t wrong the true thief, killed the crazy man.

Bu the only smart person in the village was that crazy man.

Don’t you hear like this story everyday around you, and all over the world?!
