243rd story
The bus was full of passengers when Samad arrived.
He insisted the driver let him on the bus.
The kind driver felt the importance of this young boy’s trip, so let him sit in front.
The driver: ” What’s so important that you have to get to the destination city? Do you have to see someone?”
Samad: ” No. Nothing. I don’t know anyone there.”
The driver: ” So why the rush? You come tomorrow for the next bus!”
After a few hours of driving, the driver stopped at a resting area.
Every passenger spread to eat or wash up.
Samad sat on a bench and started to sing quietly. His voice and the meaning of the lyrics drew the driver’s attention. He came closer to Samad and said: ” What a beautiful voice you have son. The lyrics are incredible, I have never heard it. Who is the singer, and the songwriter?”
Samad said: ” I wrote it, it’s mine.”
When they got to the destination, the driver asked Samad: ” Where are you going to stay son?”
Samad: ” I don’t know? I will find something.”
The driver: ” You should come to my house. My wife and children will love your voice.”
Samad accepted and went to the driver’s house. The driver’s family were very welcoming and nice.
After eating dinner, the driver’s son brought his father’s Sitar instrument.
Samad was very surprised. The driver played something and asked Samad to sing his song again.
They recorded many songs together and did many concerts. They became famous and rich.
Samad never left that city, and they established many charities together.
