It Was Your First Time/این اولین بارتوبود

254th story

A couple were celebrating their fortieth marriage anniversary. They invited all their friends and families.

The men at the party asked the husband if he would share the secret of their happiness and long marriage.

The husband said: ” When we married forty years ago, we went to a beautiful village for our honeymoon.

The view of the green hills was breathtaking. We decided to rent some horses to ride to the mountain. We wanted to enjoy more of the mesmerizing view.

They gave us horses, guns and some equipment and we left for the mountain.

My horse was calm and easy. My wife’s horse was a little stubborn. It stood on two feet. It dropped my wife on the ground.

My wife yelled at the horse and said: ” It was your first time!”

She got back on the horse, and we continued our way.

The horse did the same act again, and my wife didn’t say a word and jumped back on the horse.

When the horse threw my wife to the ground for the third time. She shot the horse with the gun.

I yelled loudly: ” Are you out of your mind?
She said: ” It was your first time!”

Then I kept quiet for forty years.

  1. My stepfather shared his version of this tale years ago. A stubborn mule became the antagonist. Yours is equally poignant. Thank you Laleh.
