269th story
James and Nancy were enjoying playing with their grandchild.

The little kid was playing with Nancy’s eyeglasses, and one of the lenses came out of the frame.
Nancy said, ” Tomorrow I will take it somewhere to fix it.”

James replied, ” I am an engineer, all my life I fixed many airplanes, you think I can’t put a lens back in the frame?!”
James brought a tiny screwdriver to loosen the frame; the little screw jumped into the air and fell on the rug.

James bent to his knees to rub his hands on the rug and find the screw, but his knee broke Nancy’s glasses.
“The next day, they visited an optometrist to buy new eyeglasses for Nancy and ended up paying a lot of money.”

On the way back, James hit a car in front of him. James yelled at the front driver and kept repeating that it was your fault.

James and the other driver started hitting each other, Nancy called the police, and the police reported the incident was James’ fault, and he had to go to court for insulting and hitting the other driver.

When the eyeglasses were ready to pick up, James asked, ” If I wanted to repair my wife’s eyeglasses, how much would it have been?”

The receptionist said, “Repairs on eyeglasses are free!”

A series of unfortunate events.
