I came across your book Soroosh and the way you portray a ten year old boy carrying the crushing weight of survival while still holding onto faith and gratitude truly moved me. The image of him sleeping on broken tiles yet growing into a man who never forgets where he came from and chooses to give back is powerful and unforgettable.

It’s been a while since I got that can’t-put-this-book-down feeling. Thank you. The depth, the emotion, the rhythm of the story… it was all so vivid, it practically directed itself in my head.
