“100th story”

In a beautiful forest lived a pretty gazelle. The gazelle wasn’t just beautiful, she was very kind, polite, and thoughtful.
A hunter had an eye for that gazelle for a long time. The hunter set a trap made with rope to catch the gazelle unharmed.
There lived a selfish rat who checked the hunter’s trap every day to see if the gazelle had been hunted.
The rat didn’t like the gazelle’s kindness and was jealous that everyone loved her. Days passed and finally, the pretty and caring gazelle fell into the trap.
She struggled so hard to rip the ropes before the hunter’s return but it was impossible with her unsharp teeth.
When the gazelle saw the rat staring at her, said: “Thank God, my dear friend please chew the ropes before the hunter returns.”
The rat said: “You don’t know me. I am not your friend. Why should I help you?”
Gazelle said: “I know we don’t know each other, but to help others there is no need to be friends, we can become friends. It is very nice to help others without any purpose.”
The rat refused and waited for the hunter’s return to laugh at the gazelle. A hungry falcon was flying up in the sky and saw the rat and in a second picked it up with its claws.
The nice gazelle felt bad and thought: “If the rat were chewing the ropes the falcon wouldn’t see him and he would stay alive.”
The hunter came back and put a rope around the gazelle’s neck to take her home probably to kill her and cook her. They were walking on the path to the hunter’s home when a happy man walked toward the hunter and said: “What a coincidence.”
The hunter said: “I don’t know you what coincidence?”
The man said: “My wife and I have a little boy who couldn’t speak. I prayed to God that if my son could talk I would free an animal in need. My son just started talking and I jumped to the path to see the first captive animal and there, a minute later, I saw this beautiful gazelle on a leash. I will buy her from you to free her. What is your price?”
This is absolutely beautifully written story with powerful message of love, truth and Karma.
