“125th story”

A farmer was cleaning one of the sheepcotes and saw a wolf had given birth to four cubs, in a warm corner, away from sheep.
The mother wolf went out of the farmer’s farm and brought food for her cubs every day.
The mother wolf felt safe on this farm and knew the farmer wouldn’t hurt her cubs and her. The farmer just kept an eye on her so she wouldn’t put his sheep in danger, amazingly she cared not to, as an appreciation of the farmer’s hospitality.
Every day the farmer saw the mother wolf brought sheep, chicken, and gazelle for her cubs. Even though she saw the farmer’s sheep every single day, but did look at them as a part of a family. The farmer still had the count of every sheep and didn’t take his eyes off the mother wolf and her cubs.
Cubs grew up so fast, and one of the days that mother wolf was out to hunt, two of the cubs killed one of the sheep on the farmer’s farm. The farmer just waited for the mother wolf to come back and see what would her reaction be to the situation.
When The mother wolf saw what had happened, started howling and bay. Then she began to move cubs one by one out from the farmer’s farm.
The next day the farmer saw the mother wolf grabbing a sheep with her teeth, without injuring it brought it to the farmer’s farm and left.
The farmer always knew wolves as wild, ferocious, and brutal.
But the farmer never believed If a human helps them and shelters them, they would never betray, and if any of them become ungrateful, they would compensation it fast.”
“But unfortunately, this true story doesn’t relate to many humans. Some of us are crueller than a wolf.”

Since some years there are after a long time again wolfes in some areas here in Germany. And the discussions are very furious about killing or accepting them…
I love wolfes and I do not believe that they are bad and furious killers…
I was in Germany- Munich end of December. We went to the beautiful castle. Great people.

I think humans have a misunderstanding about animal behaviour. We have been taught/programmed wrongly regarding animals. I think in most cases, they become violent in self-defence. Thank you, Laleh for posting this. I enjoyed reading it.
