One Blow, Two Blows|یک فوت ، دو فوت

“157th story”

Medi was driving to go to work when his cell phone rang.

Medi said: “Hello?”

No one replied, and instead, some feminine voice blew back.

Medi said: “If you are calling to bother me blow once, but if you called to become friends, blow twice.”

The caller blew twice.

Medi asked: “If you are a mean person, blow once, but if you are a nice one, blow twice.”

The caller blew twice.

Medi said: “If you are underage, blow once, but if you are mature, blow twice.”

The caller blew twice.

Medi said: “If you don’t like to meet me blow once, but if you like to meet blow twice.”

The caller blew twice.

Medi said: “I’m going to Shandiz restaurant tomorrow at one pm if you can’t come blow once, but if you can make it blow twice.”

And again, the caller blew twice.

The next day Medi dressed up carefully to make sure he looked good for his one pm date. He was very happy and excited. He showered with cologne and sang while he was getting ready.

He ran down the stairs and was about to skip breakfast out of excitement.

He was walking in the clouds and dreaming high in the sky when his wife said: “If you are coming home for lunch, blow once, but if you aren’t, blow twice!”

  9. I can’t help, but chuckle. At the same time, there is a lesson here as there usually is with many of your short stories. Laleh, thanks for sharing these glimpses at life.
