“105th story”

The first day of high school was very exciting. I felt like a man walking into a new world. I found my class.

Everyone was trying to monitor each other to find a friend. There was a girl with a not so beautiful face. She had messed up teeth and unpleasant hair and the way she was clothed showed that she wasn’t rich, her name was Jana.

A beautiful girl, rich with brand-named clothes walked into the class.

She was stunning and everyone was looking at her. As soon as she made eye contact with Jana for the first time, she very rudely said: “Oh God, did you know you are the ugliest girl in the class?!” and laughed deeply, very loud.

No one laughed with her and was just waiting to see Jana’s reaction.

Jana smiled and said: “You are very beautiful; I love your hair.”

The class was amazed by Jana’s response.

All four years of high school Jana was the most popular girl in the school. As she was the kindest, most hardworking, smartest girl with great grades.

She named everyone with kind words. She called me a handsome writer.

We all went to university and kept our friendship strong for years. Jana became the Mayor of our little town.

After all those years of creating a bond, I realized how much I am in love with her and proposed to her.

She was very shocked and said: “How come a handsome gentleman wants to marry the ugliest girl of the school?” and laughed.

I said: “Your inside beauty never let any of us see what you call ugly. That selfish student made everyone realize you were the most beautiful girl in the school. Your soul and heart make you breathtaking.”

Dear friends;

Don’t forget to read my books.<3<3<3

  2. That’s a great story. It reminds me that kindness is a bette response to mean people than giving meanness back

  4. It is a beautiful optimistic story.
However, from what I’ve seen, the strongest couples don’t rely on someone’s spiritual beauty, but on dull compatibilities.

The other one has to accept you when you aren’t nice; has to accept and be familiar with your dark side, and live with that.

  9. A beautiful story. Such stories usually don’t turn out this way. Unlike many of us in our teenage years, Jana has a positive self-image, no doubt instilled by loving parents. It’s rare to see a handsome man with an ugly wife. The opposite is more likely.

  15. Kindness and inner beauty can win over outer beauty and much pride. Yet I have to say, that I feel very sorry for the stunning Beauty, who knows how her parents have brought her up, to behave like that.

  23. I remember a girl in my class who wasn’t attractive, whose family was poor and she had bad eyesight, and everyone made fun of her. No one was ever kind to her. But after we graduated, she matured and looked beautiful. It was like the proverbial ugly duckling who was transformed into a beautiful swan. I saw her shopping in a store where I worked at a couple of years later with her new boyfriend. I thought to myself, “Good for you!”

Your story is true to life.

  26. YOUR STORIES TAKE A LOT OF KIND THOUGHT THEMSELVES! have you corresponded with my friend who wants to write about her own family’s story? She says, when I asked, she hadn’t heard anything yet. I very much appreciate your kindness toward her! 😀

  32. An illuminating story, because the interior is more important than the appearance. Many men want such elegant girls, unfortunately. 🙂

  36. Sweet story. What inner strength and self love Jana had to reply like that. I was rejected and teased throughout school, sometimes horribly and I didn’t have the inner strength at the time to respond like she did.

  37. Unfortunately the media in the U.S. more likely would sell the inner radiance of Jana short
in favor of the one with superficial beauty.
