Never Change, Please|هرگز تغییر نکن لطفا

“219th Story”

Mr. Jafari walked into a computer shop and went directly to the man behind the counter repairing a computer, and said: “Good morning, sir. My tablet is having an issue and it’s completely dead. I can’t even charge it.”

The shop owner said: “I have to open it to see what the issue is, if anything was supposed to be changed do you want me to fix it?”

Mr. Jafari said: “Yes, please. There are many important files in it and I can’t lose any of them.”

He thanked the shop owner and walked out of the store.

Mr. Jafari was thinking to himself that this problem may cost him $700-800. But what else can I do, it’s something unexpected and I have to accept it.

The next day Mr. Jafari went to the computer shop for his Tablet.

The owner said: “Your tablet is fixed. The issue was with your adaptor, your tablet is fine. If you have any adaptors at home from other devices, you can use that, no need to buy a new one.”

Mr. Jafari: “Oh, you are a lifesaver. How much do I owe you?”

The shop owner: “Nothing, I didn’t change anything.”

Mr. Jafari walked out of the computer shop very happy. He thought to himself, that the computer shop owner could have charged him hundreds of dollars and I would never notice what he repaired or changed, but he didn’t.

He directly went to a pastry store, bought a beautiful box of chocolate, and went back to the computer shop. He handed the chocolate to the owner and said: “Please never change.”

The owner smiled and said: “You said exactly what my father told me. Be kind, fair, honest, and never change.”

Dear friends don’t forget to read my books.

  4. This post carries a good moral message. However, the ideal of honesty is very difficult to find in this era.
