The Young Man And The Fisherman/مرد جوان و ماهیگیر

245th story

A poor and broken young man was sitting on a bridge, depressed and sad, watching the group of fishermen.

He was staring at the fish piles they caught, and thinking: ” I wish I had some of these fish. I would sell them to buy clothes and food.”

A fisherman noticed the young man and said: ” Sorry I need help, if you would? And to repay you, I will give you some fish.”

The young man was surprised.

“You hold my rod, and watch it closely? I have to go to the town and will come back soon.” The fisherman said.

The young man was very happy and accepted the plea.

He was holding the rod carefully and caught so many fish. The young man became very excited and loved the job.

When the fisherman came back, he gave all the fish to the young man. He said: “You should buy a rod with the money you make. Continue to do that, make a living, and build a life for yourself. By dreaming you will never earn anything. Be smart and use your youth to create, not to fantasize.”
