248th story
The boy in our story was very poor but smart. He did hard labor jobs for little money while going to school and maybe one day he would live better.

Unfortunately for a few days, he couldn’t find any work to do and he was very hungry.
He decided to knock on a door and ask for food.
He randomly banged on a door. A young girl opened the door, he got shy and couldn’t demand food and only asked for water.

The girl saw hunger on the young man’s face and brought a big bowl of milk.

The young man drank all the milk in a sip and asked: ” How much should I pay you?”
The girl replied: ” Oh, nothing.”
The young boy kept working hard to gather enough money to finish school.

Years passed and our young boy had become a doctor and lived in a big city.
One day a nurse said: “We have a patient. She was brought from a small town. No doctor can find her sickness. Now, desperately, they have brought her to this hospital.”

When the doctor saw the patient, realized she was the girl who gave him a big bowl of milk. It was the best time to appreciate what she did.

He kept her in the hospital. He ran so many tests and found the problem. She was cured and ready to go home.
The girl was only afraid to see the hospital bills. She knew she had to live on a big loan for years.
When she opened the envelope, there was a sentence; “That bowl of milk covered your hospital bills. Keep passing kindness.”

A very touching story! Many thanks

Nice positive feelings from this story. We need more of this in our world.
To my fellow bloggers:
Sorry for my blogging inactivity these past months. A lot on our plate during this big move from Spring Valley to Oceanside, CA. Now to see who’s still out there.
Have a wonderful day!
