The Best Friends/بهترین دوستان

252nd story

A group of high school friends stayed best friends for life, and always kept their friendship close.

When they turned into their forties they wanted to set a time to celebrate. They decided to go to Pop’s restaurant because there were beautiful waitresses.

Ten years later they wanted to celebrate their fifties. They decided to go to Pop’s restaurant because it served great food.

Years passed, and the best friend wanted to celebrate their sixties. They decided to go to Pop’s restaurant because the environment was peaceful and quiet.

When they turned into their seventies, they planned to gather in Pop’s restaurant. It had a wheelchair path and great access.

All the best friends turned into their eighties and again wanted to celebrate their long friendship. They all decided to go to Pop’s restaurant because they said they had never been there and let’s try it.

This funny story reminds us of the short life we have. But always pass it with stress, anxiety, and anger. When we all know one day we will never remember or aren’t here. I wish we would just take it easy, which I know it’s simple to say, and hard to do.

  1. So great. Looking forward to my eighties to explore brand new things I’ve never done or I’ve never been before

  2. That’s one reason to have children I imagine. They can speak about us when we are unable to do so. Not me though, I don’t have kids!

  3. Funny!

My memory is not perfect (and I expect that to continue) but maybe that’s ok. I can just react to everything as if it’s new!
