264th story

Mike was an employee in a busy downtown law firm.

He always had to wear suits as it was the dress code of his office.

Every day at lunchtime, he came to the street food trucks, bought something, and sat on a curb or, if he could find an empty bench, enjoyed his lunch while watching people.

One day, he noticed a good-looking young man standing at a distance, handing a shiny coloured advertising paper.

He kept his eyes on the young man and saw him handing the paper to some specific people.

He didn’t give the paper to any women, not to all men, nor to teenagers.

Mike became very curious: ” What could be on that paper?!”

Mike was thinking, ” Would I be handsome enough so this young man would hand me the paper, or would he ignore me like many others passing by him?”

Mike cleaned his shoes with the back of his pants and made sure they were shiny again, and walked towards the guy.

Mike’s heart was beating fast, and he was hoping to be a chosen one.

The guy offered the advertisement to Mike. Mike tried to show no interest, took the paper, put it in his pocket, and said, ” I don’t have time now, but I will check it, thank you.”

Mike ran into a coffee shop to look at the paper, and saw, ” You no longer need to suffer from being bald. Come to our clinic for a free consultation.”
