We Need Good Friends/ما به دوستان خوب نیاز داریم

270th story

A mother and her son got on the train to go home.

The train wasn’t very crowded, so they found a seat, and the boy started to narrate what he had done that day at elementary school.

He explained that in recess, he wrestled with two other friends.

He could defeat one of them, but lost to the other friend. He said, ” It was an enjoyable day.”

A man overheard the story and said, ” I am over fifty years old, never got married. I wish I had a child to rely on. I wouldn’t feel lonely as I do every day.”

Another man continued the conversation, ” I got married and have four children. My wife died a few years ago. Three of my children are living in other cities, and the one who lives in this city is very busy. I don’t see him often. And I feel lonely.”

The first man said, ” I don’t have children and I feel lonely. You have four, and you feel lonely! What is the solution?”

The elementary boy said, ” Having good friends.”
