274th story
If autumn never came, no poetic moment would be born.
The wind would lose its music, and silence would rest too heavy on the trees.

No symphony of crows would rise at dusk, no leaves would turn to gold before saying goodbye, and no footsteps would echo on paths of fire and rust.
Without autumn, the rain would forget how to whisper, the sky would never blush in melancholy,
and hearts would not learn the beauty of letting go.

Only in autumn trees burst into shades of gold, crimson, and amber — a natural painting that changes every day. Crisp, fresh air: The cool breeze feels clean and energizing after the heat of summer. Sunlight’s softer, warmer light makes everything look calm and nostalgic.
The romantic falling leaves, their gentle rustle and motion bring peace — like nature’s own slow dance.

Sweaters, scarves, and cozy evenings with tea or coffee, brings comfort and warmth.
Candles, baking, and reading feel even more special as days grow shorter.
Autumn inspires calm thoughts, gratitude, and creativity.

When the trees shed their leaves, it is a reminder that endings can be beautiful.
Nature rests and prepares for new growth. Then it’s harvest time, a season to appreciate abundance and small blessings. Autumn teaches us that change can be colourful, not just painful.

Autumn’s perfect weather for walks, fresh, crispy apples, pumpkins, squash, and spices, healthy and full of flavour. Thanksgiving, harvest fairs, cozy family gatherings.
That’s why I love autumn.

Beautiful pictures and prose. I saw a small branch on the sidewalk, that had lost all of its leaves but already had the swollen knuckle appearance of next year’s leaf buds.
Wow, hope, in picture.❤️

You are welcome! 😊
I love autumn and your writing about it.
Love you.
Laleh, I appreciate how your reflective voice embraces the wondrous gift of autumn. My most favorite season opens an annual window overflowing with our Creator’s patience and grace.
You are wonderful.
Great poetic thoughts, dear Laleh. You are like Alexander Pushkin & Isaac Levitan in the Russian culture. They liked autumn too. I also share your opinion. Colourful autumn days are full of inspiration.
You are amazing.
